Woolf Works Wednesday: Festive Edition
This is the time of year for reassessing, goal setting and thinking about the future.
Let's DREAM BIG for 2016.
Aimee Barnes and Chloe Chick are both experts at dreaming big and making those dreams happen. Come hear them share their stories and tips to help you hit the New Year with a bit more than 'eat better and exercise' on your resolution list.
Aimee Barnes is the founder of Tangram Wellness and is an internationally certified Health and Recovery coach, as well as a Physical Fitness specialist, Weightlifting Coach and competitive athlete, working with women across the globe. Following her transformation journey out of clinical depression & an alcohol use disorder, she decided to blend various coaching and training disciplines based on what she learned through extensive research as well as professional and personal experience, all of which emphasized that, for optimal health, we cannot separate the body from the mind. As a coach, she is particularly passionate about assisting people in changing habits and behaviors that no longer serve them.
Chloe Chick is the founder of Sisu Girls, an organisation which aims to show girls how determined, brave and resilient they are through participative adventure-based programs and inspiring content. Since leaving her native Australia over 11 years ago, Chloe has continued to develop her passion for girls having sisu. She arrived in East Africa in 2003 to work at the School of St Jude in Tanzania, which later transpired into a six-month overland journey across the African continent and the founding of her first social venture, 3 Peaks 3 Weeks Africa. She later moved to London before relocating to Switzerland and co-founding Peaks Foundation. She has climbed some of the world’s highest peaks, has run ultra-marathons, driven overland across the African and European continent, lived in six different countries and is the mother of two.
